2011, My Year

The year 2010 was a very fruitful year for me and my family. Before it ended, I got promoted. The Lord has put me back to my post as youth leader. My family was, and still is, in full health; I helped my sister, Jhong, to get a job, Chenille got a scholarship grant at San Sebastian (she wants to take BS Psychology and then Medicine to study my brain) and our dear Dindi went on a tamad-tamaran vacation here with us. Joshua was born and is getting smarter and cuter each day. Jesus The Gospel Canlubang, where we attend Sunday services, got renovated. We have cut bills issues into half and God is still continuing to bless us to end all debt issues. I can’t thank God enough for all that He’s done for us. And He ain’t done yet… The party just got started…

Thank you, Yahoo! for hacking my account. I check emails like once a month or if I am forced to. And so I opened my alternate Hotmail account and saw that Dindi sent me an email. This is what she wrote (Dindi, sorry I am so blessed with what you sent me I disregarded privacy:

I just want you to know ate that you are a great woman of God. I am really blessed by your life. Your testimony is a living proof of God’s goodness and faithfulness. You are going to be used by God mightily not only in the four corners of our church but in the city. Young girls will commit their lives to Christ because of your passion and love for God. God is taking you to the next level and He wants you to get ready. You will see and hear things in the supernatural realm. You will see angels ascending to and descending from heaven. Your spiritual eyes and ears will be opened so that God’s word shall be declared through you. The Lord will ask you to give up some things you’ve been carrying for a long long time and when it seems like you can’t do it, that’s when He is calling you to obey Him radically. God’s grace is always with you. He wants to meet you in the secret place. He wants you to go to the deepest places wherein you can hear His audible voice and talk to Him like you’re talking to a friend. His secrets are revealed in the secret places. There’s so much more in His kingdom and He wants to show those things to you. This is your year so get ready.

I know that there is something more than just sitting and listening. The Lord will make me the head, not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13). Temptation is everywhere but the time is almost over and we all have to act fast. Oh Lord, I give ‘em all to You!

Who? Me? Ya, YU!!!

I blew my first birthday candle when Senator Ninoy Aquino was shot. Dad pushes a strict diet on me; worrying about my heart. Mom loves cooking cholesterol for me. I collect hobbies, sports and Hello Kitty things.

Twisted. Insane. Autistic at times.

Cook Sinigang na Baboy for me and we will be friends for life. I will crochet a bag for you.

I have a penchant for clean bathrooms. I scrub my toilet bowl squeaky clean. I love picking my nose. I can beat you if you challenge me to a farting contest.

I forced everyone in the house to have a Facebook account. Now, Dad has Twitter, Mom has Plurk. I cancelled some of my sites for selective amnesia purposes.

I don't buy much clothes lately. I choose whatever's on top of the dresser. I comb my hair after taking a bath and that's it.

I like joining ANY activities at work. Every performance may not be a canvas but the intent is achieved. A hearty laughter from the audience is my most cherished treasure. I still want to be a CNN newsanchor but being a comedienne is more appealing money-wise.

I have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I just got out from having Angina Pectoris. My laptop is almost 3 years old and the letters N, E and O are instigating a mass resignation. Funny, this is a NEO Notebook.

I love God. He loves me, I know.
