I’ve been virtually absent for quite some time and I think that it made me a better person. Naaaat!
I miss my laptop. I miss being online. I miss my lovelife.
Well, everything is doing great now. I am just taking one step at a time. Taking things slow this time around. And no more crazy, stupid, unreasonable, unreliable, unbelievable, horrendous acts. No more.
Here are the things that I will TRY to do (and avoid) from now on:
1. I will not blog about TOO personal stuff, most especially about my sex life. (An FHM confession is included, so I know I will not win Confession of the Year on the next Christmas EB… sigh)
2. I will TRY not to be a GABRIELA SILANG just to defend my friends. I will try to settle issues like that the subtlest, most discreet way possible. (So that means I have to add SUBTLE and DISCREET in my vocabulary)
3. I will start collecting more girly stuff and USE them for crying out loud. (Some are affordable so it’s okay to just keep them in my trash box but some are pretty expensive. Sayang naman)
4. I will TRY to stop overspending since I am not earning that much anymore. (And my youngest sister needs my help. Gosh! I feel like I am a mother!)
5. I will make sure that I know how to cook Filipino dishes so that my special someone would be able to taste the dishes we, Filipinos, are proud of. (He loves my adobo. 1 point!)
6. I will not cut my hair all by myself anymore. My roommate told me that it looks like a professional cut but every time my hair is wet, I have to look for the scissors just to "repair" the damage I made. (Why do girls resort to cutting their hair short or eating ice cream/ eating period everytime they are depressed? Oh yeah, one thing more, this makes me believe that I am a woman… a bit woman)
7. I will teach my special someone our language so that I won’t find it hard to communicate with him. I gave him the yellow booklet WE had before WE went to grammar school.(Yeah, the one Bob Ong wrote about in one of his books) I also bought him a next-step-to-Filipino book which is, I guess, used in day care centers. Next book: Ang Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.
8. I will TRY to be serious about life. You know, that’s a joke.
9. I will REALLY listen to what my dear friends would advise me. Believe it or not, guys, they worked!
10. I will TRY not to speak ill of other people… unless, they are really ugly, they know it and I can’t help it because they’re just in front of me. (Fine, fine) I will not speak ill of others. I will just text you guys.
11. I will TRY not to speak GAY because I don’t want my special someone to be one. I don’t want his parents to blame me for that.
12. I will do my best to be a technical person. (I wanna buy a lot of techy stuff and I don’t want to be screwed… What the fuck is the use of the two buttons beside the power button of this effin’ laptop?)
13. I will lose all these flabs. I will lose all these flabs. I will lose all these flabs. I will lose all these flabs. (Typing this makes me hungry…Oh, Crispy Pata, make love to me!)
14. I will stop drooling over Johnny Depp, Patrick Dempsey, Eminem, Hugh Jackman, Dane Cook and David Cook because I have a Marine rockstar who loves licking my eyeball.
15. I will always be happy because I deserve it. (Yeah, I can’t think of anything to fill in #15)
16. I will continue to love the people who love me and just be indifferent to the people who abhor me. I will let them have wrinkles because of hating me to death. It’s such a waste of time. And the Olay Anti-Aging shit is expensive.
17. I will get a passport within this month, whatever happens. (Damn those requirements in getting other stuff. At least, with the passport, I know I have an identity. And I really wanna go to the Bermuda Triangle)
18. I will TRY to wear bra at work… and TRY not to remove it after the lunch break.
19. I will TRY to stop drinking soda. Wait. Sprite is not a soda, is it? (Ahehehehe!)
20. I will blog seriously. Like seriously. No, really, seriously. AH! Whatever. (Yeah yeah, just like #15)
So there. See you guys around.
